Answered on Nov 13, 2022To remove the existing shelves and replace them with custom-made shelves or cabinets:
1. The shelves are likely secured using screws or snap-in clips. Carefully examine the underside of each shelf to identify the attachment method.
2. If using screws, use a screwdriver to remove them. Take note of the screw locations to ensure proper reinstallation of the new shelves.
3. If using snap-in clips, gently pry the shelf upwards to release the clips. Again, pay attention to the clip positions for reassembly.
4. Once the original shelves are removed, you can install your custom-made replacements. Ensure they are properly sized to fit the TV unit's dimensions and can support the intended weight loads.
5. For attachment, you may need to drill new holes and use screws or brackets compatible with the TV unit's construction. Refer to the hardware specifications to select the appropriate fasteners.
The process requires some DIY skills, but with the right tools and attention to detail, you should be able to successfully modify the TV unit to better suit your storage needs
