Posted on Jul 01, 2023I've assembled the Jästesta TV storage combination, but I'm having trouble getting the shelves to stay in place. The screws provided seem too short and the shelves keep falling down. Are there longer screws available that I can use or is there another solution to secure the shelves?

Answered on Jul 03, 2023To secure the shelves on your JÄTTESTA TV storage combination, you can try using longer screws. The standard screws provided may not be long enough to properly anchor the shelves. Look for 3/4" or 1" wood screws that are compatible with the pre-drilled holes. Carefully remove the existing screws and replace them with the longer screws, making sure they are tightened securely. This should help prevent the shelves from falling down. If you continue to have issues, you can also try using shelf pins or brackets to provide additional support for the shelves

To ensure a secure and stable installation, it is recommended to anchor the unit to the wall using the provided wall anchors and screws. For the wall anchors, you will need a 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit. The screws provided with the unit should be used to attach the unit to the wall anchors. Make sure to follow the detailed assembly instructions carefully for the proper installation steps

Since it's quite tall and wide, how does it stay stable when placed against a wall or corner? Is there any additional anchoring system or weight required to prevent it from tipping over?
