Create unique and varied patterns on your BESTÅ with the help of the visible grains on HEDEVIKEN doors.
It’s easy to keep the cords from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cord outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The cable outlet at the top lets cords run down smoothly into the TV bench.
The legs raise your BESTÅ combination from the floor, giving it a light airy look and making it easy to clean the floor underneath.
The two drawers make it easy to keep remote controls, game controls and other TV accessories organized.
The drawer has an integrated push-opener, so you don’t need handles or knobs and it will open with just a light push.
The drawer runners are adjustable so you can adjust the front both horizontally and in depth.

Posted on Mar 08, 2024I'm having some issues with the drawers not opening smoothly. The drawer runner seems to be stuck and makes it difficult to open the drawer fully.
Is there a way to adjust or lubricate the runners to fix this issue?

Answered on Mar 10, 2024To fix the issue with the drawers not opening smoothly, you can try adjusting or lubricating the drawer runners:
1. First, fully extend the drawer to access the runner mechanism. Look for any obstructions or debris that may be preventing the smooth movement.
2. If the runners seem stuck, you can try lubricating them. Apply a small amount of silicone-based furniture polish or lubricant to the moving parts of the runners. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they can attract more dust and dirt.
3. Next, you can try adjusting the drawer runners. There are usually small adjustable screws or levers on the runners that allow you to fine-tune the horizontal and depth positioning of the drawer. Refer to the IKEA assembly instructions for guidance on how to properly adjust the runners.
4. Once adjusted, slowly close and open the drawer to test the smoothness. You may need to make minor adjustments until the drawer opens and closes effortlessly.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, there may be a more serious problem with the runner mechanism that would require further troubleshooting or replacement of the drawer runners
