Posted on Oct 09, 2023I am having trouble opening the drawers on my Besta TV bench, they are very stiff and hard to push open. Are there any adjustment settings I can try or is it just a normal characteristic of this model?

Answered on Oct 11, 2023The drawers on your BESTÅ TV bench should open and close smoothly. If they are stiff and hard to push open, there are a few adjustments you can try:
1. Check the drawer runners. The drawer runners are adjustable, so you can try adjusting them horizontally and in depth to improve the drawer movement.
2. Lubricate the drawer runners. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the drawer runners to reduce friction and make the drawers glide more easily.
3. Ensure the drawers are properly installed. Make sure the drawers are aligned correctly and seated properly on the runners. This can affect how easily they open and close.

Answered on Apr 27, 2023The drawer runners on the BESTÅ TV bench with drawers are adjustable, allowing you to adjust the front of the drawer both horizontally and in depth. Here are the steps to adjust the drawer runners:
1. Pull the drawer out completely.
2. Locate the small plastic levers on the sides of the drawer runners.
3. Gently squeeze the levers and slide the drawer runners in or out to adjust the depth.
4. To adjust the horizontal position, simply shift the entire drawer left or right as needed.
5. Once you've achieved the desired fit, release the levers to lock the runners in place.
