Posted on Jan 06, 2023I'm having trouble closing one of the drawers smoothly, it feels like there's something blocking it. Are there any steps I can take to troubleshoot or adjust the soft-closing mechanism?

Answered on Jan 08, 2023The soft-closing mechanism on the BESTÅ drawer may need some adjusting if it's not closing smoothly. First, check that the drawer is properly installed and aligned within the frame. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
Next, inspect the soft-closing mechanism itself. There may be debris or obstructions preventing the mechanism from operating correctly. Carefully clean the mechanism using a soft cloth. You can also try adjusting the tension of the soft-closing mechanism by turning the adjustment screw located on the side of the drawer slide. Turn it clockwise to increase the tension if the drawer is closing too slowly, or counterclockwise to decrease the tension if it's closing too quickly.
