In this TV storage combination, there’s room for your TV and for displaying your favorite belongings behind glass doors.
It’s easy to keep the cords from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cord outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The cable outlet at the top lets cords run down smoothly into the TV bench.
The drawer has an integrated push-opener, so you don’t need handles or knobs and it will open with just a light push.
The shelves are adjustable so you can customize your storage as needed.
The space-saving wall cabinets make the most of the wall area above your TV.
Optimize and organize your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.

Posted on Sep 28, 2023I have a Bestå TV storage combination and I'm having trouble opening the drawer. The integrated push-opener seems to be stuck or jammed. Is there any troubleshooting or maintenance that I can do to fix this issue?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Sep 30, 2023To troubleshoot the stuck drawer on your BESTÅ TV storage combination:
First, try gently pulling the drawer open. If it's stuck, there may be an obstruction preventing it from opening smoothly. Check the drawer slides and runners for any debris or obstructions that could be causing the issue.
If the drawer still won't open, you can try adjusting the push-opener mechanism. Locate the small screws on the side of the drawer that attach the push-opener. Gently loosen these screws, then push the drawer in and out a few times to see if the mechanism starts working properly again. Be careful not to overtighten the screws when you put it back.
If the above steps don't resolve the problem, the push-opener mechanism may be damaged and need to be replaced. You can order a replacement push-opener kit from IKEA and follow their instructions to install it.
Proper maintenance, like regularly cleaning the drawer slides and runners, can also help prevent the push-opener from getting stuck in the future

Posted on Oct 09, 2022I am having trouble installing the BESTÅ TV storage combination, specifically with the wall cabinets. The screws provided do not seem to be long enough and I am concerned that the cabinets will not be securely attached to the wall. Can you please provide additional screws or a solution for this issue?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Oct 11, 2022To securely attach the wall cabinets, you will need longer screws that can properly anchor into the wall. Here are the steps to resolve this issue:
1. Measure the thickness of your wall. The screws provided may not be long enough to fully secure into drywall or other wall materials.
2. Visit your local hardware store and purchase screws that are 1-2 inches longer than the thickness of your wall. Screws with a diameter of 3/16" or 1/4" should work well.
3. Use a stud finder to locate the wall studs behind where you plan to mount the cabinets. Try to secure the cabinets into the studs whenever possible, as this will provide the most secure attachment.
4. If you cannot locate studs in the desired cabinet locations, use wall anchors designed for drywall or hollow walls. This will allow the longer screws to properly secure the cabinets.
5. Double check that the cabinets are level and firmly attached to the wall before proceeding with the rest of the BESTÅ assembly.
