Posted on Sep 25, 2022I am having trouble assembling the IDANÄS TV unit, specifically with the drawers. The instructions are unclear and I'm not sure how to attach the drawer slides to the sides of the unit. Can you provide more detailed instructions or a video tutorial to help me complete this step?

Answered on Sep 27, 2022The drawer assembly for the IDANÄS TV unit can be a bit tricky, but here are some detailed steps to help you:
1. Locate the pre-drilled holes on the inside of the TV unit sides where the drawer slides need to be attached.
2. Take the drawer slides and identify which side is the front and which is the back. The front side will have a small tab or lever that allows the drawer to be released.
3. Align the drawer slide with the pre-drilled holes on the inside of the TV unit side. Make sure the front of the slide is towards the front of the unit.
4. Use the screws provided to securely attach the drawer slide to the side panel, making sure it is level and flush.
5. Repeat steps 3-4 for the other side of the drawer.
6. Once both slides are attached, you can insert the drawer box. Align the drawer box with the slides and push it in until it clicks into place.
