Posted on Mar 07, 2024I have the Besta storage combination with glass doors, but I'm having trouble opening one of the drawers. The push-openers are working fine for other drawers, but this particular one doesn't seem to want to open. Is there a trick or a specific way to open it?

Answered on Mar 09, 2024To open the drawer that is not working properly, first try the following:
1. Check if there are any obstructions or debris preventing the drawer from opening smoothly. Gently pull the drawer out as far as it will go and inspect the inside for any obstacles.
2. Ensure the push-opener mechanism is functioning correctly. Try pushing the drawer front firmly in different spots to see if the push-opener activates and releases the drawer.
3. If the push-opener seems stuck, you can try manually opening the drawer. Locate the small hole on the underside of the drawer front and insert a thin tool, like a paperclip, to release the mechanism.
4. As a last resort, you may need to remove the drawer completely and inspect the runners. The runners may be misaligned or require lubrication to operate smoothly again.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to contact IKEA customer service for further assistance
