It’s easy to keep the cords from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cord outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The cable outlet at the top lets cords run down smoothly into the TV bench.
The space-saving wall cabinets make the most of the wall area above your TV.
The drawers close silently and softly, thanks to the integrated soft-closing function.
The drawers make it easy to keep your belongings organized. The shelves behind the doors give you even more storage space.
The shelves are adjustable so you can customize your storage as needed.
Optimize and organize your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.

Posted on Mar 02, 2024I have the BESTÅ TV storage unit and I'm having trouble getting the soft-close mechanism to work properly. Sometimes it works fine, but other times it takes a bit of extra force to close the drawer. Is there any trick or adjustment I can make to get it working smoothly again?

Answered on Mar 04, 2024The soft-close mechanism on the BESTÅ drawers can sometimes become less effective over time due to wear and tear. Here are a few things you can try to get it working smoothly again:
First, check that the drawers are properly aligned and not obstructed when closing. Make sure there are no objects or debris preventing the drawer from closing fully.
Next, you can try lubricating the soft-close mechanism. Use a silicone-based lubricant and apply a small amount to the moving parts of the mechanism. This can help reduce friction and allow the drawer to close more easily.
If the issue persists, you may need to adjust the tension of the soft-close mechanism. There are usually small screws or levers on the side of the drawer that control the tension. Gently tighten these to increase the closing force, or loosen them to decrease the tension.
With a little troubleshooting, you should be able to get the soft-close function working reliably again on your BESTÅ TV unit
