It’s easy to keep the cords from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cord outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The cable outlet at the top lets cords run down smoothly into the TV bench.
The drawers make it easy to keep your belongings organized. The shelves behind the doors give you even more storage space.
The shelves are adjustable so you can customize your storage as needed.

Posted on Mar 28, 2024I have the BESTÅ storage combination with glass doors in dark gray Lappviken/Fällsvik anthracite and I'm having trouble closing one of the drawers. It seems to be stuck. Is there a specific technique or trick to closing it smoothly?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Mar 30, 2024The most likely cause of the drawer being stuck is that it is not properly aligned within the cabinet frame. Here are the steps to troubleshoot and fix this issue:
1. First, fully open the drawer to inspect it. Check that the drawer slides are properly mounted and not damaged.
2. Ensure the drawer box is aligned correctly within the cabinet opening. The drawer front should be evenly spaced on all sides.
3. If the drawer is not aligned, you can try adjusting the drawer brackets or slides. There are usually small screws that allow you to shift the drawer left/right and up/down to get the proper alignment.
4. Once the drawer is aligned, slowly close it, checking that it glides smoothly without catching. You may need to make minor adjustments until it closes properly.
5. If the drawer still seems stuck, check that there are no obstructions or debris interfering with the slides. Wipe down the slides with a clean cloth to ensure smooth operation.
Let me know if these troubleshooting steps help resolve the issue with your BESTÅ drawer

Posted on Mar 04, 2023I love the design of this storage combination! I'm planning to use it for my new TV and some gaming consoles. Can you please confirm if there is a specific screw or hardware required to attach the glass doors?
Also, are there any recommendations for installing the BESTÅ system in terms of leveling and stability?

Answered on Oct 31, 2022To adjust the shelves on the BESTÅ TV storage combination, follow these steps:
1. Locate the shelf pins that are holding the shelves in place. These are typically small plastic or metal pins that fit into pre-drilled holes on the side panels.
2. Gently pull out the shelf pins to release the shelf. You may need to apply a bit of force, but be careful not to damage the side panels.
3. Once the shelf is free, you can reposition it to the desired height by aligning the shelf pins with the new set of holes.
4. Firmly push the shelf pins back into the holes to secure the shelf in its new position.
5. Repeat this process for any other shelves you want to adjust.
There are no screws or specialized mechanisms involved. The simple shelf pin system allows you to easily customize the shelf heights to suit your storage needs

Answered on Jul 19, 2022The drawer may be stuck due to misalignment or buildup of debris. First, check that the drawer is properly aligned in the cabinet. Ensure the drawer slides are securely mounted and the drawer is sliding smoothly on the tracks. If the drawer is still stuck, try the following:
1. Fully extend the drawer and inspect the slides for any obstructions or debris. Clean the slides with a soft cloth to remove any dirt or dust buildup.
2. Check if the drawer front is properly attached. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
3. Lubricate the drawer slides using a silicone-based lubricant. Apply a small amount to the moving parts of the slides.
4. If the issue persists, the slides may need to be adjusted. Consult the BESTÅ assembly instructions or contact IKEA for guidance on properly adjusting the drawer slides.
With some troubleshooting, you should be able to get the stuck drawer operating smoothly again
