Posted on Feb 17, 2024I have a BESTÅ TV storage combination with glass doors and I'm having trouble opening one of the drawers. The push-openers seem to be stuck. What can I do to fix this?

Answered on Feb 19, 2024To fix the stuck push-opener on the drawer, try the following steps:
1. Ensure the drawer is not overloaded. The maximum load per drawer is 22 lb (10 kg). Remove any excess weight from the drawer.
2. Check if the drawer is properly aligned within the frame. Gently pull the drawer out and inspect if it is sliding smoothly on the runners.
3. Locate the push-opener mechanism on the side of the drawer. Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry and release the push-opener from its housing.
4. Clean any debris or dust that may have accumulated around the push-opener mechanism using a soft cloth.
5. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the push-opener and its housing to reduce friction and improve the sliding motion.
6. Reassemble the push-opener and test the drawer to ensure it opens and closes smoothly with just a light push.
