Posted on Mar 21, 2024I love this storage unit, but I'm having some issues with the smart lock. Sometimes it doesn't open properly and I have to jiggle the drawer a bit to get it to come out. Is there a way to lubricate or clean the mechanism to fix this issue?

Answered on Mar 15, 2024To reset the smart lock on the BEKANT storage unit, follow these steps:
1. Locate the small reset button on the back of the lock mechanism.
2. Use a thin object like a paperclip or pen tip to press and hold the reset button for 5-10 seconds.
3. This will reset the lock and clear any stuck or locked status.
4. Once reset, you should be able to open the drawer normally using the lock mechanism.
