The drawer has an integrated push-opener, so you don’t need handles or knobs and it will open with just a light push.
The drawer runners are adjustable so you can adjust the front both horizontally and in depth.
It’s easy to keep the cords from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cord outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The two drawers make it easy to keep remote controls, game controls and other TV accessories organized.
Adjustable feet make the TV bench stand evenly on an uneven floor.
Optimize and organize your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.
It’s not only the TV that’s smart! BESTÅ TV units combine contemporary good looks with practical function. You get lots of storage space and relief from cables that tend to get messy and gather dust.

Posted on Feb 29, 2024I've assembled the BESTÅ TV unit and it looks great, but I'm having some issues with the drawers. The front of one of them doesn't line up properly with the rest of the unit, causing it to stick a bit when opening or closing.
Is there any adjustment that can be made to get it to fit flush?

Answered on Mar 02, 2024The drawer front can be adjusted both horizontally and in depth to get it to fit flush with the rest of the unit. Here are the steps to adjust the drawer:
1. Open the drawer fully to access the adjustment screws.
2. Locate the two adjustment screws on the drawer runner, one on the left and one on the right.
3. Use a screwdriver to adjust the screws. Turn the screws clockwise to move the drawer front inwards, and counterclockwise to move it outwards.
4. Make small adjustments, testing the drawer opening and closing after each adjustment until the front is aligned properly.
5. Once the drawer front is flush, the drawer should open and close smoothly.
If you continue to have issues, double-check that the entire unit is level, as uneven floors can also cause alignment problems with the drawers

Posted on Jul 11, 2023I have a question about the drawer runners being adjustable. How do I adjust them horizontally and in depth? Is there a specific tool required or is it just a matter of pulling/pushing the drawers to achieve the desired fit?

Posted on Jun 26, 2022I love the design and functionality of this TV unit! However, I'm having some trouble with one of the drawers. The push-opener mechanism doesn't seem to be working properly - it takes a bit more effort than a "light push" to open the drawer.
Is there a way to adjust or clean the mechanism to get it functioning smoothly again?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jun 28, 2022To troubleshoot the push-opener mechanism on the drawer, here are a few steps you can try:
First, check if there is any debris or buildup preventing the mechanism from working smoothly. Gently wipe down the inside of the drawer and the push-opener mechanism with a clean, dry cloth to remove any dust or dirt.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, you can try adjusting the tension of the push-opener. There are small screws on the sides of the drawer that control the tension. Slowly turn these screws clockwise to increase the tension and make the push-opener easier to activate.
If the drawer still requires more force than a light push to open, the mechanism may need to be replaced. This is a relatively simple repair that can be done by ordering a replacement push-opener kit from IKEA and following their instructions for installation.
