Posted on Oct 27, 2023I love the Småstad bookcase! I'm considering purchasing it for my child's room. Can you tell me how easy or difficult it is to assemble?
Are there any specific tools required for assembly?

Answered on Oct 29, 2023The SMÅSTAD / UPPFÖRA bookcase is relatively easy to assemble, but does require some basic tools. The assembly process involves the following steps:
1. Attach the adjustable feet to the bottom panel using a screwdriver. This helps level the bookcase on uneven floors.
2. Connect the side panels to the top and bottom panels using the included screws and a screwdriver.
3. Insert the shelves into the side panel slots, making sure they are level.
4. Attach the drawer fronts to the drawer frames using the supplied hardware and a screwdriver.
5. Slide the drawers into the bookcase openings.
The only tools required are a standard screwdriver. No other specialized tools are needed. The instructions provided are clear and easy to follow. With some basic DIY skills, most people can assemble this bookcase in about 1-2 hours
