Posted on Mar 31, 2023I have a SMÅSTAD bookcase and I need to move it to a new house. How do you disassemble the adjustable feet?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Apr 02, 2023To disassemble the adjustable feet on the SMÅSTAD bookcase, follow these steps:
1. Carefully tilt the bookcase to its side, ensuring it is supported to prevent it from falling.
2. Locate the adjustable feet at the bottom of the bookcase frame.
3. Using a screwdriver or wrench, unscrew the adjustable feet by turning them counterclockwise.
4. Once the feet are unscrewed, you can remove them from the bookcase frame.
5. Repeat this process for all the adjustable feet on the bookcase.
6. After disassembling the feet, the bookcase will be ready to move to your new house.
Remember to handle the bookcase carefully during the disassembly and moving process to avoid any damage
