Posted on Sep 21, 2023I would like to know if it's possible to replace the Dalskär faucet with a different one from Ikea. Is there any compatibility issue or do I need to check something specific before making the change?

Answered on Sep 23, 2023The GODMORGON / ODENSVIK sink cabinet is designed to be compatible with various IKEA faucets, including the Dalskär model. You can replace the Dalskär faucet with a different IKEA faucet without any compatibility issues, as long as the new faucet has the same hole spacing and mounting requirements as the original.
When selecting a replacement faucet, make sure to measure the existing hole spacing on the sink to ensure the new faucet will fit properly. Also, check the product specifications to ensure the new faucet is compatible with the sink material and dimensions. As long as the replacement faucet meets these requirements, you should be able to install it without any problems

Posted on Dec 05, 2022I've installed the Godmorgon/Odenvik sink cabinet with Dalskär faucet, but I'm having trouble closing one of the drawers. The soft-closing mechanism seems to be malfunctioning. Is there a way to adjust or fix this issue?

Answered on Dec 07, 2022The soft-closing mechanism on the drawers may need adjustment if one of them is not closing properly. Here are the steps to troubleshoot and fix this issue:
1. First, check that the drawer is properly aligned and slides smoothly on the drawer runners. Ensure there is no obstruction preventing the drawer from closing fully.
2. If the drawer is aligned correctly, the soft-closing mechanism may need adjustment. Locate the small adjustment screws on the side of the drawer runner. Turning these screws clockwise will increase the soft-closing force, while turning them counter-clockwise will decrease it.
3. Adjust the screws in small increments, testing the drawer closing after each adjustment, until you find the right balance where the drawer closes smoothly and the soft-closing mechanism is working properly.
4. If the issue persists after adjusting the soft-closing mechanism, there may be a problem with the drawer runner itself. In this case, you may need to replace the drawer runner assembly.
