Posted on Feb 01, 2024I purchased the BEGRIPA handle and it doesn't seem to fit my SMÅSTAD door. The instructions are in Swedish and I'm not fluent in that language. Could you please provide me with a translated version of the installation manual or any additional guidance on how to properly install this handle?

Without the installation manual, the best approach would be to carefully examine the pre-drilled holes on your SMÅSTAD door and compare them to the hole spacing and diameter provided in the product description.
The BEGRIPA handles have a drilled hole diameter of 1/4" (7mm) and a hole spacing of 3 3/4" (96mm). If the pre-drilled holes on your SMÅSTAD door match these dimensions, you should be able to simply screw the BEGRIPA handles directly onto the door using the appropriate hardware.
If the hole spacing or diameter does not match, you may need to drill new holes to accommodate the BEGRIPA handles. Be sure to measure carefully and double-check the dimensions before drilling to ensure a proper fit.
