This is a durable faucet that you can use for many years, since the hard, ceramic discs withstand the friction that always occurs when you change the temperature of the water.

The kitchen faucet’s sensor function is simple, hygienic and practical – perfect when you just want to fill a glass with water or rinse off your hands when cooking.

The water flow turns off automatically after 10 seconds if the sensor does not detect any movement, so you never risk wasting water.

The faucet has both a sensor and a manual lever. The lever is practical when filling a pot or other large container with water.

The sensor is discreetly placed on the faucet’s side to prevent it from accidentally turning on when you work in the kitchen.

The sensor's cleaning mode means that the faucet turns off for 2 minutes, so you can wipe the faucet without turning the water on.

An aerator integrated in the faucet keeps the water flow just right while less water and energy is used.

Turn the INSJÖN kitchen mixer tap in chrome with sensor function on and off with a slight hand movement, without touching it. The sensor is placed on the faucet’s side so it’s less visible – and more practical.

Life in the kitchen often revolves around the sink. It’s where we rinse vegetables, do the washing up and wash our hands. But it's not ideal if water starts running every time your hands move by the sink. How was this solved? We simply placed the sensor on the faucets’s side.

When you use an IKEA kitchen faucet, you're saving water thanks to an aerator that reduces flow while maintaining pressure. We didn't invent aerators, but think they are a good example of how we value water. It's one of Earth's most precious resources, yet very little of it is drinkable and even less is accessible. No organism can survive without it either. That's why we want to be good stewards of water at every step, whether in our factories or in your kitchen faucet.

Who wouldn’t like kitchen tasks to be easier and more hygienic? INSJÖN kitchen mixer tap with sensor functions is a step on the way. You can turn the water on and off with a slight hand movement ― without touching the mixer tap. But what if water starts running every time your hands move by the sink? The solution was quite simple: we placed the sensor on the side. This improved the look of it, too.

Brass is a mixture of copper and zinc and the amounts vary depending on the desired properties. Copper is usually the main material and the more zinc you add results in the brass being harder and stronger, but also results in it being more difficult to shape and less resistant to rust. Brass can be recycled as brass but never into its original metals. At IKEA we use brass for things like knobs, handles, frames and taps.

To be mounted in a 1⅜" hole in a max. 2⅜" thick sink/countertop.

The water temperature when using the sensor is controlled by the position of the handle.

A tool is included that makes it easy to install the faucet in place.

Care Instructions:

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Wipe clean with a water dampened soft cloth and a mild non-abrasive dish detergent or soap, if necessary.

Never use scouring powder, steel wool or a detergent that is calcium-dissolving, sour or contains alcohol or an abrasive.

To remove larger limescale deposits – use diluted, ordinary white vinegar and rinse with water.
