Posted on Nov 24, 2023I've noticed that the drawers have a slight gap at the bottom, which allows dust and dirt to enter. Is there a solution or a product available from IKEA that can be used to close this gap and keep the drawers cleaner?

Answered on Nov 26, 2023To address the gap at the bottom of the drawers and prevent dust and dirt from entering, IKEA offers a few solutions:
1. FIXA Silicone sealant: This clear silicone sealant can be applied along the bottom edge of the drawers to create a tight seal and close the gap. It's easy to apply and dries quickly.
2. FIXA Draught excluder: This self-adhesive foam strip can be cut to size and attached along the bottom of the drawers to fill the gap and block out dust and dirt.
3. KOMPLEMENT Drawer mat: This thin, flexible mat can be placed inside the drawers to cover the gap at the bottom, creating a barrier against debris.
