Posted on Jan 14, 2024I have just assembled the Småstad cabinet, but I am having trouble with one of the doors not closing properly. It seems to be stuck and won't close fully. What could be the cause of this issue? Is there a specific adjustment or trick to getting it to work smoothly again?

Answered on Jan 16, 2024The issue with the door not closing properly could be due to a few potential causes:
1. Misalignment of the hinges: The hinges may not be properly aligned, causing the door to bind or not close fully. Try adjusting the hinges by loosening the screws slightly and repositioning the door until it closes smoothly.
2. Uneven floor: If the cabinet is not standing level on the floor, it can cause the doors to bind. Use the adjustable feet on the cabinet to level it and see if that resolves the issue.
3. Obstruction: Ensure there is no obstruction, such as a toy or other item, preventing the door from closing fully. Check the interior of the cabinet and the area around the door frame.
4. Damaged components: Inspect the door hinges, hinges plates, and other hardware for any damage or wear that could be causing the problem. Replace any damaged parts as needed.
Try these troubleshooting steps, and the door should start closing properly again. Let me know if you have any other questions
