Posted on Apr 23, 2023I'd like to ask for help troubleshooting a problem with the cabinet. The hinges on both doors have come loose and I'm having trouble snapping them back into place without screws. Is there a recommended way to reattach the hinges or is it possible to replace them?

Answered on Apr 25, 2023The snap-on hinges on the SEKTION wall cabinet can be reattached without the need for screws. Here are the steps to reattach the loose hinges:
1. Ensure the cabinet frame is securely mounted to the wall. This will provide a stable surface for the hinges to attach to.
2. Locate the small plastic clips on the back of the hinges. Gently press these clips into the corresponding holes on the cabinet frame until you hear a click, indicating the hinge is properly snapped into place.
3. Once both hinges are reattached, open and close the cabinet doors to ensure they are properly aligned and functioning smoothly.
If the hinges are damaged and cannot be reattached, you can order replacement hinges from IKEA to swap them out. Be sure to get the correct hinge model for your SEKTION cabinet.
