Answered on Feb 16, 2024To adjust the shelves in this BESTÅ storage combination, it's a simple process that does not require any special tools. The shelves are designed to be easily adjustable without the need for tools.
To adjust the shelf height:
1. Lift the shelf straight up to remove it from the shelf supports.
2. Reposition the shelf supports to the desired height.
3. Lower the shelf back into place on the shelf supports.
The shelf supports have pre-drilled holes at different heights, allowing you to easily adjust the shelf placement to suit your storage needs. This provides flexibility to customize the interior layout of the BESTÅ unit

Posted on Oct 23, 2023I recently purchased the BESTÅ storage combination and I'm having trouble with one of the shelves. It's not staying in place and keeps falling down. Are there any adjustments that can be made to secure it better?

Answered on Oct 25, 2023To secure the shelf that keeps falling down, you can try adjusting the shelf pins. First, remove the shelf and locate the shelf pins that hold it in place. These are typically small plastic or metal pegs that fit into holes on the side panels. Gently push the pins in further to ensure they are fully inserted into the holes. This will help keep the shelf more securely in position. You can also try rotating the pins slightly to get a tighter fit. If the pins seem loose, you may need to replace them with new ones to get a proper hold on the shelf. With some minor adjustments, you should be able to get that shelf stable and prevent it from falling down
