Posted on Sep 13, 2022I am having trouble closing the door smoothly due to the damper not being adjusted properly. Can you provide instructions on how to adjust the damper so that the door closes quietly and slowly?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Sep 15, 2022To adjust the door damper on the SEKTION wall cabinet so the door closes quietly and slowly:
1. Locate the damper mechanism on the cabinet frame, usually on the top or side.
2. Identify the adjustment screw or dial on the damper. This is typically a small screw or knob.
3. Using a screwdriver or your fingers, slowly turn the adjustment screw/dial clockwise to increase the damping force and slow down the door closing.
4. Continue adjusting in small increments until the door closes at the desired speed and softness.
5. Test the door closing a few times to ensure it's operating smoothly and quietly.
6. If needed, make further minor adjustments to the damper to achieve the perfect door closing motion.
The key is to make gradual adjustments and test after each one to get the damper set just right for your preferences

Answered on Jul 21, 2022To ensure proper alignment of the hinges during assembly, here are a few tips:
1. Make sure the cabinet frame is properly installed and level before attempting to attach the hinges.
2. Carefully follow the instructions for hinge placement and positioning. The hinges should snap into the pre-drilled holes on the cabinet frame.
3. Use a screwdriver or small hammer to gently tap the hinges into place if they don't easily snap in. Avoid using excessive force.
4. Double-check that the hinges are securely attached and the door can open and close smoothly without binding.
5. If the hinges still don't align properly, the cabinet frame may be slightly warped or uneven. In this case, you may need to make minor adjustments to the frame before re-attaching the hinges.
With some patience and attention to detail, you should be able to get the hinges properly aligned for a smooth operation of the cabinet door
