Posted on Jan 29, 2024I have the Bestå TV unit and I love it! However, I've noticed that the cord outlets at the back are a bit small for my thick HDMI cables. Are there any adapters or accessories available to make them fit better?

Posted on Aug 09, 2023I have a Besta TV unit in walnut effect light gray, and I'm having trouble getting the cord outlets at the back to stay shut. The little tabs that are supposed to keep them closed seem to be too weak and they always pop open again. Is there a way to secure them better or replace them with something more sturdy?

Answered on Aug 11, 2023The cord outlets on the back of the BESTÅ TV unit can sometimes be a bit tricky to keep closed. Here are a few suggestions to help secure them better:
1. Try using small cable ties or zip ties to hold the cord outlets in the closed position. Wrap the tie around the outlet and secure it tightly to keep the outlet flap from popping open.
2. You can also try using a small amount of adhesive, like a hot glue gun or strong double-sided tape, to attach the outlet flap to the back panel. This will help keep it shut without relying solely on the built-in tabs.
3. As a last resort, you could carefully drill small pilot holes through the outlet flaps and use tiny screws to fasten them in place. Be very careful not to drill through the entire back panel.
The key is finding a solution that securely holds the outlets closed without damaging the TV unit. Let me know if you have any other questions
