Posted on Mar 14, 2023I'm having some issues with the drawers. They're not closing properly and are making a loud noise when trying to close them. How do I adjust or fix this issue?

Answered on Mar 16, 2023The issue you're experiencing with the drawers not closing properly and making a loud noise is likely due to the drawer glides not being properly adjusted. Here are the steps to troubleshoot and fix this problem:
1. First, fully extend the drawer and locate the adjustment screws on the drawer glides. These are usually located on the sides of the glides.
2. Using a screwdriver, turn the adjustment screws clockwise in small increments to tighten the glides. This will reduce the play in the drawer and help it close more smoothly.
3. Test the drawer after each adjustment to see if the issue is resolved. You may need to make several small adjustments to get the perfect fit.
4. If the noise persists, check that the drawer is properly aligned within the cabinet frame. Adjust the bracket screws that attach the drawer to the frame as needed.
5. Lastly, ensure there is no debris or obstructions interfering with the drawer glides. Wipe down the glides with a clean cloth to remove any dirt or buildup.
With some minor adjustments, you should be able to get your SEKTION drawers closing smoothly and quietly again
