To make the armchair as comfortable as possible for you, we designed it with generous proportions for both the seat and the armrests so they provide good support.
You can stack 2 armchairs on top of each other by turning one upside down and positioning it on the other one.
The seat has a small edge at the back to keep a chair cushion in place.
The cushion cover has a padded inlay that increases your seating comfort.
You can just shake off water from a light rain, as the cushion cover is water repellent.

Is there a specific type of detergent or washing cycle recommended, and should it be tumble dried or air dried?
Additionally, is the water repellent coating on the cushion cover still effective after repeated washing and drying?

Answered on Oct 14, 2023The cushion cover for the BONDHOLMEN armchair is machine washable. It's recommended to wash the cover in a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Avoid using bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the water-repellent coating.
After washing, it's best to air dry the cushion cover rather than using a tumble dryer. This will help preserve the water-repellent properties of the fabric. The water-repellent coating should remain effective even after repeated washing and air drying, but you may notice a gradual decrease in its performance over time.
To maintain the water repellency, you can periodically treat the cushion cover with a water-repellent spray or solution designed for outdoor fabrics. This will help restore the water-resistant properties and extend the life of the cushion cover
