Posted on Mar 30, 2024I have a Bestå TV bench and I'm having trouble opening the drawer. The push opener seems to be stuck and requires quite a bit of force to open it. Is there anything I can do to lubricate or adjust it so it opens more smoothly?

Answered on Aug 06, 2022To help the top drawer glide more smoothly, you can try the following:
1. Check the drawer runners - Ensure the drawer runners are properly installed and not obstructed. If needed, you can adjust the runners horizontally and in depth for a better fit.
2. Lubricate the runners - Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant or furniture polish to the drawer runners. This will reduce friction and make the drawer operate more smoothly.
3. Adjust the drawer front - The drawer front can be adjusted both horizontally and in depth. Try adjusting the front slightly to get the perfect fit and smooth operation.
4. Clean the runners - Over time, dirt and debris can build up on the drawer runners, causing sticking. Wipe down the runners with a clean cloth to remove any buildup.
5. Check the weight - Ensure you are not overloading the drawer, as excessive weight can make it difficult to open and close. Refer to the maximum load capacity specified for the drawers.
