I'm interested in purchasing the UPPFÖRA frame. However, I noticed that it's a bit taller than expected. Can you please provide more information on how to adjust its height or is there an optional shorter version available?

The UPPFÖRA frame does not have an optional shorter version available. However, you can adjust the height of the frame by removing the plinth at the bottom. The plinth is 6 1/4" (16 cm) in height, so removing it will reduce the overall height of the frame from 53 1/2" (136 cm) to 47 1/4" (120 cm). This should provide you with the desired height if the original 53 1/2" is taller than you need. The frame itself cannot be shortened further, as it is a fixed size. I'm trying to assemble the Uppföra frame, but the instructions are unclear. Can you please provide more detailed assembly instructions or a diagram showing how to connect the legs to the frame?

The frame consists of four pieces - two side panels and two top/bottom panels. To assemble, first attach the side panels to the top and bottom panels using the included screws and dowels. Ensure all connections are tight. Next, attach the adjustable legs to the bottom of the frame. Adjust the leg height as needed to level the frame. Finally, secure the frame to the wall using the provided wall anchors for stability. Let me know if you have any other questions

I'm planning to put the UPPFÖRA frame in a room with a relatively low ceiling. The specified height is 53 1/2 inches, but I'm worried it might be too tall and obstruct the flow of the room. Can you confirm if there's any adjustment or modification that can be made to reduce the overall height of the frame?

Unfortunately, there is no way to directly reduce the overall height of the UPPFÖRA frame. The specified height of 53 1/2 inches is a fixed dimension of the product. However, you could consider the following options to better accommodate the frame in a room with a low ceiling:

1. Adjust the placement of the frame - Try positioning the frame against a wall or in a corner to minimize the visual impact of the height.

2. Use a lower plinth - The frame comes with a 6 1/4 inch plinth. You could consider omitting the plinth or using a lower profile alternative to reduce the overall height.

3. Explore alternative frame options - IKEA offers a variety of frames in different sizes. You may be able to find a similar style frame with a shorter overall height that would better suit your room.
