I need to assemble this shelf and I'm having trouble fitting the frame together. The two sides of the frame don't seem to be aligning properly. Is there a specific way to adjust or tighten the frame to ensure it's sturdy and even?

To ensure the BESTÅ shelf frame is sturdy and even, here are the steps to properly assemble it:

First, make sure all the frame pieces are aligned correctly. The two side panels should fit snugly into the top and bottom panels. If they are not aligning properly, double-check that you have the right pieces and that they are not damaged.

Next, use the included screws and tools to securely fasten the frame together. Tighten the screws fully, but do not overtighten them. This will help prevent the frame from becoming warped or unstable.

If you are still having trouble getting the frame to sit evenly, you can try gently tapping the sides with a rubber mallet to adjust their positioning. Be careful not to apply too much force, as this could damage the frame.
