Posted on Apr 12, 2024I am having trouble with the hinges on my SEKTION High cabinet with shelves/2 doors. They keep falling off and I have to constantly reattach them. Is there a way to secure them better?

Answered on Apr 14, 2024The snap-on hinges on the SEKTION High cabinet with shelves/2 doors can sometimes become loose over time. To secure them better, you can try the following:
1. Check that the hinges are properly snapped into the cabinet frame. Make sure they are clicked in place firmly.
2. If the hinges still feel loose, you can use a small amount of wood glue or adhesive to help hold them in place. Apply a small dab of glue to the hinge and press it firmly into the frame.
3. Alternatively, you can replace the snap-on hinges with screwed-in hinges. This will provide a more secure attachment to the cabinet frame. You can purchase replacement hinge hardware from IKEA.
4. Ensure the cabinet frame itself is still sturdy and not damaged, as that could also cause the hinges to become loose over time.
