Posted on Oct 28, 2022I'm having some trouble assembling the GODMORGON / ODENSVIK sink cabinet. The instructions are a bit unclear for me and I'm not sure how to attach the drawers to the base of the cabinet. Could you please provide more detailed assembly instructions or recommend a YouTube tutorial that can help me get it right?

Answered on Oct 30, 2022To assemble the drawers on the GODMORGON / ODENSVIK sink cabinet, follow these steps:
1. Locate the drawer fronts, drawer sides, and drawer bottoms. The instructions should show how these pieces fit together.
2. Start by attaching the drawer sides to the drawer front. There are usually clips or screws that secure these pieces.
3. Next, slide the drawer bottom into the slots on the drawer sides. Make sure it fits snugly.
4. Once the drawer is assembled, you can attach it to the cabinet base. There are usually brackets or rails that the drawer slides into.
5. Gently push the drawer into the cabinet until you hear it click into place. Ensure the drawer can slide in and out smoothly.
6. Repeat these steps for each drawer. The soft-closing mechanism should engage when you close the drawers.
If you're still having trouble, I'd recommend checking out the assembly videos on IKEA's website or YouTube. They have detailed step-by-step guides that can walk you through the process

Posted on Oct 21, 2022I have assembled the sink cabinet and everything seems fine, but I notice that the drawers don't slide smoothly anymore after a few months of use. Is there any lubricant or maintenance recommended to keep them running smoothly?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Oct 23, 2022To keep the drawers sliding smoothly, you can try applying a small amount of silicone-based furniture polish or lubricant to the drawer slides. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust and grime over time. Simply apply a thin layer to the slides, open and close the drawers a few times to distribute the lubricant, and wipe away any excess. This should help restore the smooth, easy-gliding action of the drawers. Be sure to clean the slides periodically as well to remove any buildup. With proper maintenance, the drawers should continue operating smoothly for years to come
