Posted on Dec 24, 2023I'd like to know how to remove the drawers and doors from this base cabinet for cleaning or maintenance purposes. Can I simply pull them out or are there specific steps I need to follow?

Answered on Dec 26, 2023To remove the drawers and doors from the SEKTION / MAXIMERA base cabinet for cleaning or maintenance:
For the drawers:
1. Pull the drawer out fully.
2. Lift the front of the drawer upwards to detach it from the runners.
3. The drawer can now be removed completely.
For the doors:
1. Open the door fully.
2. Locate the snap-on hinges at the top and bottom of the door.
3. Gently pull the door away from the cabinet frame to detach the hinges.
4. The door can now be removed.
Remember to take care when removing and reinstalling the components. Refer to the instruction manual if needed. Ensure all parts are properly reattached before closing the cabinet

Posted on Oct 04, 2023I have a SEKTION / MAXIMERA Base cabinet with 2 doors and 3 drawers. The damper on one of the drawers is not working properly. How can I repair or replace it?

Answered on Oct 06, 2023To repair or replace the drawer damper on your SEKTION / MAXIMERA Base cabinet:
1. First, fully open the drawer that has the faulty damper.
2. Locate the damper mechanism on the side of the drawer. It is likely a small metal or plastic component attached to the drawer slide.
3. Carefully disconnect the damper from the drawer slide. You may need to unscrew or pry it off gently.
4. Obtain a replacement damper that is compatible with your MAXIMERA drawer system. You can purchase a replacement part from IKEA.
5. Attach the new damper to the drawer slide, ensuring it is securely in place and functioning properly.
