The door can be mounted to open to the left or right.

Posted on Oct 06, 2023How do I adjust the shelves in this cabinet to accommodate different sizes of items? Are there any specific tools or techniques required for adjusting the shelves?

Answered on Oct 08, 2023To adjust the shelves in this SEKTION base cabinet, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired shelf position. The shelves are adjustable and can be placed at different heights to accommodate different sized items.
2. Locate the shelf support pins on the inside of the cabinet frame. These are the small metal pegs that the shelves rest on.
3. Gently lift the shelf up and out to remove it from the cabinet.
4. Reposition the shelf support pins to the desired height. You can move them up or down in the pre-drilled holes.
5. Place the shelf back onto the support pins, making sure it is securely in place.
No special tools are required for this adjustment. You can simply use your hands to lift and reposition the shelves. Ensure the shelf is level and stable after making the adjustment

Posted on Nov 20, 2022I'd like to know if the door damper can be removed or adjusted? Sometimes I find it a bit too sensitive and would like to adjust the sensitivity or even remove it if possible.

Answered on Nov 22, 2022The door damper on the SEKTION base cabinet can be adjusted or removed if needed. Here are the steps:
To adjust the door damper sensitivity:
1. Locate the damper mechanism on the cabinet frame.
2. Use a small screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw clockwise to increase the damping force, or counterclockwise to decrease it.
3. Test the door and adjust as needed until you achieve the desired sensitivity.
To remove the door damper completely:
1. Locate the damper mechanism on the cabinet frame.
2. Use a screwdriver to unscrew and remove the damper.
3. The door will now close without the damping mechanism.
Keep in mind that removing the damper may cause the door to close more forcefully. You can always reinstall it later if needed
