Posted on Jan 05, 2023I have a BESTÅ storage combination with the Kallviken front and I love it! However, I'm having some issues with the doors. They don't seem to be closing properly anymore and are making a loud creaking noise when opened or closed. Is there a way to adjust or lubricate the hinges to fix this problem?

Answered on Jan 07, 2023To address the issue with the doors on your BESTÅ storage combination, you can try adjusting the hinges. First, locate the adjustment screws on the hinges. There are usually three screws - one that adjusts the door horizontally, one that adjusts it vertically, and one that controls the opening/closing tension.
Try tightening the tension screw gently to reduce the creaking noise. You can also try lubricating the hinges with a small amount of silicone-based furniture polish or lubricant. Avoid using oils or greases as they can attract dust and dirt over time.
