Posted on Mar 30, 2024I love the design of the Nordli modular chest, and I'm planning to use it in my bedroom. However, I have a concern about the stability of the drawers when fully extended. Are there any specific instructions or tips you can provide on how to ensure they remain stable and don't tip over?

Posted on Feb 17, 2024I would like to attach my Nordli Modular Chest to the wall for safety and stability. Can you please provide me with a specific instruction on how to do this?

Answered on Feb 19, 2024To attach the NORDLI Modular Chest to the wall for safety and stability, follow these steps:
1. Locate the wall anchors and screws included in the product packaging.
2. Identify the pre-drilled holes on the back panel of the chest.
3. Position the chest against the wall in the desired location.
4. Use a stud finder to locate the wall studs behind the chest. If possible, try to align the screws with the wall studs for maximum stability.
5. If the screws cannot be secured into wall studs, use the provided wall anchors to securely attach the chest to the wall.
6. Insert the screws through the pre-drilled holes on the back of the chest and into the wall or wall anchors.
7. Ensure the chest is level and tightly secured to the wall before releasing.
This will help prevent the chest from tipping over and provide added safety and stability

Posted on Jul 17, 2023I'm having trouble getting the drawers to run smoothly, there's a slight resistance when pulling them out. Are there any adjustments I can make or is it possible that the drawer runners need to be replaced?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jul 19, 2023The issue with the drawers not running smoothly is likely due to the drawer runners. First, check that the drawers are properly installed and the runners are aligned correctly. If everything is installed properly, the next step would be to check the drawer runners themselves.
The concealed drawer runners in the NORDLI chest should allow the drawers to glide smoothly, even when heavily loaded. Over time, these runners can become worn or obstructed, causing the resistance you're experiencing.
To fix this, you can try lubricating the drawer runners with a silicone-based lubricant. Apply a small amount to the length of the runners and open/close the drawers a few times to work it in. This should help reduce any friction.
If the lubrication does not resolve the issue, the drawer runners may need to be replaced. Replacement drawer runners for the NORDLI chest are available from IKEA. Carefully remove the old runners and install the new ones according to the instructions. This should restore the smooth operation of the drawers
