Posted on Oct 22, 2022I recently purchased the Godmorgon/Odenvik sink cabinet and Dalskar faucet. I'm having trouble closing one of the drawers completely. It seems to be stuck due to some sort of debris or dirt accumulation. Is there a recommended way to clean out the drawer mechanism to get it moving smoothly again?

Answered on Oct 24, 2022To get the drawer moving smoothly again, you can try the following steps:
1. Fully open the stuck drawer. Inspect the drawer runners and mechanism for any visible debris or obstructions.
2. Use a soft cloth or paper towel to gently wipe down the drawer runners and mechanism, removing any dust, dirt or debris buildup.
3. If there are any sticky residues, you can use a small amount of mild soap and water to clean the affected areas. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives as they may damage the finish.
4. Once cleaned, dry the drawer runners and mechanism thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.
5. Apply a small amount of silicone-based furniture polish or lubricant to the drawer runners. This will help the drawer glide smoothly.
6. Slowly close and open the drawer a few times to work the lubricant into the mechanism.
