The fabric gives excellent protection against the sun’s UV rays as it has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 50+, which means it blocks 98% of the ultraviolet radiation.
It’s easy to open and close the umbrella by pulling the handle up or down. The umbrella automatically locks in the open position.
Tilt function provides protection from the sun all day long.
With a light, passing rain shower, you can stay and relax under the umbrella since the canopy repels water.
The color stays fresh for longer, as the fabric is fade resistant.
The parasol pole is made of aluminium which means it won’t rust.

Posted on Mar 10, 2024I have the Kuggö/Lindöja umbrella and I'm having trouble with the tilt function. How do I adjust it so that the canopy stays at a comfortable angle?

Answered on Mar 12, 2024To adjust the tilt function on your KUGGÖ / LINDÖJA umbrella:
1. Locate the tilt adjustment mechanism, which is usually a knob or lever near the top of the umbrella pole.
2. Gently loosen the tilt adjustment mechanism by turning or moving it.
3. Tilt the umbrella canopy to the desired angle.
4. Once the canopy is at the comfortable angle, tighten the tilt adjustment mechanism to secure it in place.
The tilt function allows you to adjust the angle of the canopy throughout the day to provide optimal sun protection. Experiment with different tilt positions to find the most comfortable setting for your needs

Answered on Aug 04, 2023The KUGGÖ / LINDÖJA umbrella comes with a 10-year limited warranty. This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship. If the umbrella is found to have a manufacturing defect, IKEA will provide a replacement free of charge
