Posted on Jul 12, 2023I've assembled the Nordli chest of drawers, but the top drawer won't slide in smoothly. It's a bit stuck and I have to push it really hard to get it to go in. What could be causing this issue?
Is there something I can do to fix it?

1. First, fully extend the drawer and examine the runner mechanism. Make sure there is no debris or obstructions preventing the smooth movement.
2. Check that the drawer runners are properly secured to both the drawer and the cabinet. Ensure all screws are tightened.
3. Verify the drawer is sitting level within the cabinet opening. Adjust the leveling feet if needed to ensure the cabinet is level.
4. If the runners appear bent or damaged, you may need to replace them. Replacement drawer runners can be ordered from IKEA.
5. As a last resort, you can try lubricating the drawer runners with a silicone-based lubricant to help the drawer slide more smoothly.
