This 6-seat table can easily be extended into a 8-seat table using the included self-storing leaf.

The self-storing leaf is easy to insert to extend the table from 6 to 8 and just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.

The dark brown table has a hardwood veneer top layer that is both stained and lacquered for durability and to allow the natural wooden texture to shine through.

The upholstery of the chair consists of straight polyester fibers with small gaps between them – providing comfy elasticity and better ventilation so you enjoy a pleasant temperature when sitting.

The seat's bowl-shaped bottom is adapted for your sit bones and those of most of the world's population. And with an innovative technique, the seat's padding is shaped to maximize your comfort.

To attach the self-storing leaf to the EKEDALEN table, follow these steps:

1. Locate the brackets or rails underneath the table top where the self-storing leaf needs to be inserted.
2. Align the leaf so that the edges fit snugly into the brackets or rails.
3. Gently push the leaf into place until it clicks or locks securely.
4. Make sure the leaf is level and flush with the table top.

There is no special mechanism or technique required. The self-storing leaf is designed to easily slide into the pre-installed brackets or rails underneath the table top. Simply align and push the leaf into place until it is firmly attached

I have the Ekedalen / Bergmund table and chairs. I need help troubleshooting an issue with the self-storing leaf not staying in place when extended. What could be causing this problem and how can I fix it?
