This frame is ideal to use with ALFTA adhesive hook. With the hook you can easily hang the frame without nails or screws and decorate your walls with pictures.
You can choose to frame your picture in different ways; close to the front or behind the box frame insert to add depth. You can use with or without the accompanying mat.
Can be used hanging or standing to fit in the space available.
Front protection in plastic makes the frame safer to use.
The mat is acid-free and will not discolor the picture.
Decorate with pictures you love. This frame varies the feeling of depth by mounting it closest to the viewer or at a distance. The plastic front protection is safe ― and does justice to the motif.

Posted on Nov 25, 2023Can I use this frame with a canvas painting that is slightly larger than the specified dimensions? Would the mat and acid-free backing help to stretch the canvas over time, or would it still be prone to shrinkage?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Nov 27, 2023The HOVSTA frame is primarily designed for standard photo prints or artwork, not for stretched canvas paintings. While the frame can accommodate artwork slightly larger than the specified dimensions, it may not be the best solution for a canvas painting.
The mat and acid-free backing are intended to protect the artwork from discoloration, but they are not designed to provide structural support for a stretched canvas. Over time, the canvas may still be prone to shrinkage, which could cause the artwork to become misaligned within the frame.
For a canvas painting, it would be better to use a frame specifically designed for that purpose, such as a canvas stretcher frame or a floater frame. These types of frames are better equipped to support the weight and tension of a stretched canvas, helping to prevent warping or shrinkage
