Answered on Aug 12, 2023You can use a glass shelf with this ENHET base frame instead of the included wood shelves, but there are a few important considerations:
The maximum load capacity per shelf is 35 lb (16 kg). Any glass shelf you use would need to be rated to support at least this much weight safely. Look for tempered glass shelves designed for use in shelving units.
The frame has pre-drilled holes to accommodate the included wood shelves. If using a glass shelf, you may need to drill new holes to properly secure it in place. Be sure to measure the shelf dimensions carefully to ensure a proper fit.
Additionally, glass shelves may be more prone to tipping or sliding on the frame's open design. Consider adding shelf stabilizers or edge grips to help keep the glass shelf securely in place.
As long as you use a suitably strong and properly fitted glass shelf, this ENHET base frame can work well with a glass surface. Just be mindful of the weight capacity and stability requirements

Answered on Feb 10, 2023The ENHET Base fr w shelves measures 24" (60.9 cm) wide, 18" (45.7 cm) deep, and 24" (60.9 cm) high.
The shelves are fixed and not adjustable. Each shelf has a maximum load capacity of 35 lb (16 kg).
There is no mention of a lip on the shelves to prevent items from falling off. The product description states that it is an "open solution" and "open storage creates a more spacious feeling in the room than closed storage."
