Posted on Dec 31, 2023I have a LÅNGFJÄLL Conference chair with armrests, Gunnared beige/black and I noticed that the adjustable tilt tension mechanism seems to be stuck.
Is there an easy way to fix this or do I need to use an Allen key?

Answered on Jan 02, 2024The adjustable tilt tension mechanism on your LÅNGFJÄLL Conference chair can be fixed using an Allen key. To adjust the tilt tension:
1. Locate the Allen key bolt underneath the seat, near the tilt mechanism.
2. Use the Allen key to turn the bolt clockwise to increase the tilt tension, or counterclockwise to decrease the tension.
3. Adjust the tension until you find the desired level of balance and support.
The tilt tension mechanism is designed to be easily adjustable with an Allen key to suit your weight and preferred level of recline. If you continue to experience issues with the mechanism, I'd recommend checking the IKEA warranty information to see if repair or replacement may be covered

Posted on May 25, 2023I would like to purchase the LÅNGFJÄLL Conference chair with armrests, but I need a custom size. Is it possible to order the chair in a smaller or larger width and depth? If so, what are the minimum and maximum dimensions available for customization?

Answered on May 27, 2023Unfortunately, the LÅNGFJÄLL Conference chair with armrests is not available in custom sizes. The dimensions provided in the product description are the only sizes offered for this model. The width and depth are both 26 3/8" (67 cm), and the seat width and depth are 20 7/8" (53 cm) and 16 1/8" (41 cm) respectively. The chair is designed and tested to support up to 243 lb (110 kg) in these standard dimensions. IKEA does not offer customization options for this particular chair model. The best option would be to select the standard size that best fits your needs
