Posted on Sep 17, 2022I recently purchased this sink cabinet and I'm having trouble with the drawers. They are not sliding in and out smoothly like they should.
Is there a trick to lubricating the runners or is there something else that could be causing the issue?

Answered on Sep 19, 2022The issue with the drawers not sliding smoothly is likely caused by the drawer runners needing some lubrication. Here are the steps to fix this:
1. Pull the drawer all the way out and locate the drawer runners on the sides.
2. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant or furniture polish to the drawer runners. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust and dirt.
3. Gently push the drawer back in and out a few times to distribute the lubricant evenly along the runners.
4. If the drawers still feel sticky or stiff, check that they are properly aligned in the cabinet. Make minor adjustments to the drawer placement until they slide freely.
