Posted on Nov 06, 2023I'd like to know if it's possible to trim the cover panel to fit a smaller space, and if so, what tools or methods would be recommended?

Answered on Nov 08, 2023The FÖRBÄTTRA cover panel can be trimmed to fit a smaller space. To do this, you'll need a fine-toothed saw, such as a miter saw or a hand saw. Measure the space where you need to install the panel and mark the cutting line. Carefully cut along the line, making sure to cut the panel squarely. Sand the edges lightly to smooth them out. Be cautious when cutting the panel, as the material is relatively thin at 1/2 inch. Take your time and make clean, straight cuts for the best results

Posted on Apr 19, 2023I'd like to purchase a replacement cover panel for my existing Förbättra door, but I'm having trouble finding the correct size. Can you confirm if this 15x42.5" panel is compatible with the previous model/year of the Förbättra door?

Posted on Jul 16, 2022I'm trying to install this cover panel, but it seems like the screws provided are too short and not reaching the backside of the cabinet. What can I do?
Can I purchase longer screws or is there a different solution?

Answered on Jul 18, 2022You can purchase longer screws that are compatible with your cabinet. Measure the thickness of your cabinet and get screws that are at least 1/2" longer than the cabinet thickness. This will ensure the screws can properly reach and secure the cover panel. Alternatively, you can use plastic wall anchors along with the provided screws to create a stronger hold if the cabinet material is not thick enough for the screws to reach. Just be careful not to overtighten the screws to avoid damaging the cabinet
