Posted on Jan 17, 2024I'm having trouble installing the faucet. The instructions are unclear and I can't seem to get it to connect properly. Can you provide more detailed installation instructions or suggest a video tutorial that might help? Additionally, what type of adhesive should I use to secure the faucet to the sink?

Answered on Jan 19, 2024To install the RÄTTVIKEN faucet, first ensure the sink surface is clean and dry. Apply a bead of silicone-based plumber's putty or adhesive around the underside of the faucet base. This will help create a watertight seal.
Carefully place the faucet through the designated hole in the sink, pressing down firmly to adhere the putty. From underneath, secure the faucet mounting hardware according to the instructions. Tighten the mounting nuts evenly to avoid warping the faucet base.
For the water supply connections, use the flexible hoses included in the faucet kit. Attach one end to the faucet inlets and the other to your home's water supply lines. Tighten the connections with a wrench, being careful not to overtighten.
