With BETSÖ umbrella frame you get a maintenance-free wooden look since the pole is made of naturally rust-free aluminum with a wooden print.
Tilt function provides protection from the sun all day long.
The fabric gives excellent protection against the sun’s UV rays as it has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 50+, which means it blocks 98% of the ultraviolet radiation.
The color stays fresh for longer, as the fabric is fade resistant.
Easily open or close the umbrella by using the pulley. Pull the rope down to open the umbrella. Secure with the locking pin in the pole’s hole. Remove the pin and release the rope slowly to close it.
With a light, passing rain shower, you can stay and relax under the umbrella since the canopy repels water.
The strap with buckle keeps the fabric in place when folded.
The umbrella base will last longer and stay looking fresh, as it is both UV stabilized to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight and fade resistant.

Posted on Dec 29, 2023I just purchased the umbrella and I'm having trouble closing it. The locking pin won't go in properly, and I've tried to adjust it a few times.
Is there something specific I need to do to get it to close smoothly?

Answered on Dec 31, 2023To close the umbrella smoothly, ensure the locking pin is aligned properly with the hole in the pole. Here are the steps:
1. Gently pull the rope down slowly to start closing the umbrella.
2. As the umbrella starts to close, guide the locking pin towards the hole in the pole.
3. Make sure the locking pin is inserted fully into the hole. You may need to adjust the position of the pin slightly to get it to slide in easily.
4. Once the pin is securely in place, continue to slowly release the rope until the umbrella is fully closed.
If you're still having trouble getting the locking pin to align, double-check that there are no obstructions or tangles in the mechanism. Gently manipulate the parts until you can get the pin to slide in smoothly. With a little patience, you should be able to close the umbrella without issue

Posted on Oct 17, 2022I have a BETSÖ umbrella with the brown wood effect beige/Grytö color. The fabric has started to fade and lose its UV protection. Can I replace the canopy or is it a specific part that needs to be replaced? How do I go about replacing it?

Answered on Oct 19, 2022The umbrella canopy can be replaced on the BETSÖ umbrella. The canopy and frame are sold separately, so you can purchase a replacement canopy in the same color to renew the look of your umbrella.
To replace the canopy, first remove the existing one by unfastening the strap and then detaching the canopy from the frame. Once the old canopy is removed, attach the new replacement canopy to the frame following the assembly instructions. Make sure to secure the canopy properly using the strap to keep it in place.
By replacing just the canopy, you can easily refresh the appearance of your BETSÖ umbrella and restore the UV protection without needing to replace the entire umbrella set
