Posted on Feb 03, 2024I am having some trouble with the faucet in my HEMNES / ODENSVIK sink cabinet. The water flow is very weak, and I am not sure what could be causing it. Is there a specific aerator device that can be replaced or cleaned to improve the water pressure?

Is there a way to replace or repair this without having to replace the entire sink cabinet?

Answered on Apr 28, 2023The faucet can be repaired without having to replace the entire sink cabinet. Here are the steps to fix a leaking faucet on the HEMNES / ODENSVIK sink cabinet:
1. Turn off the water supply to the faucet by closing the shut-off valves underneath the sink.
2. Remove the faucet handle by unscrewing the set screw or cap on the handle.
3. Unscrew the faucet stem or cartridge from the faucet body. This is the part that controls the water flow.
4. Inspect the faucet stem or cartridge for any worn washers or o-rings. These are the likely culprits causing the leak.
