Is there a way to clean or restore the fabric to its original condition?

Answered on Oct 11, 2023To restore the water repellency and condition of the LINDÖJA umbrella fabric, you can try the following steps:
1. Clean the fabric gently. Use a mild, non-detergent soap and lukewarm water. Avoid scrubbing too hard, as this can damage the fabric. Rinse thoroughly.
2. Once dry, apply a water-repellent spray or treatment designed for outdoor fabrics. Look for products that contain silicone or fluoropolymers. Apply the treatment evenly across the entire umbrella canopy.
3. Allow the fabric to fully dry and cure as directed on the product instructions, usually 24-48 hours. This will help the water-repellent coating bond to the fabric.
4. Test the water repellency by lightly sprinkling water on the fabric. The water should bead up and roll off easily. If not, reapply the water-repellent treatment.
