Posted on Feb 19, 2024I have a Hemnes/Odensvik bathroom set and I'm having trouble with the water trap. It seems to be clogged and water is not draining properly. Can you provide any troubleshooting tips or recommend a replacement part if needed?

Answered on Feb 21, 2024The flexible water trap included with the HEMNES/ODENSVIK bathroom set can sometimes become clogged, preventing proper drainage. Here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
First, remove the water trap and inspect it for any debris or blockages. You can try flushing it out with water to clear any clogs. If the water trap is damaged or beyond cleaning, you can purchase a replacement water trap from IKEA to install.
To replace the water trap, turn off the water supply, disconnect the trap from the sink drain and the wall outlet, and then install the new water trap. Make sure to properly reconnect all the plumbing and check for any leaks once the new trap is in place.
If the issue persists after replacing the water trap, there may be a blockage further down the drain line that will require more extensive plumbing work to address. But starting with the water trap replacement is the best first step

Answered on Dec 31, 2023The HEMNES / ODENSVIK bathroom furniture set is designed to work specifically with the included Voxnan faucet. The faucet height is not adjustable, as it is integrated into the sink cabinet.
To install a different type of faucet, you would need to modify the sink cabinet, which is not recommended. The included Voxnan faucet is the only one that is compatible with this bathroom furniture set. Attempting to install a different faucet could compromise the functionality and integrity of the product
