The fabric gives excellent protection against the sun’s UV rays as it has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 50+, which means it blocks 98% of the ultraviolet radiation.
It’s easy to open and close the umbrella by pulling the handle up or down. The umbrella automatically locks in the open position.
Tilt function provides protection from the sun all day long.
With a light, passing rain shower, you can stay and relax under the umbrella since the canopy repels water.

Posted on Dec 11, 2023I have a Kuggö umbrella and the handle has become loose. How do I tighten it?

Answered on Dec 13, 2023To tighten the handle on your KUGGÖ umbrella, follow these steps:
1. Locate the nut or bolt at the base of the handle where it connects to the umbrella pole.
2. Using the appropriate wrench or pliers, turn the nut or bolt clockwise to tighten it. Be careful not to overtighten.
3. Test the handle to ensure it is now secure and does not feel loose.
4. If the handle is still loose, you may need to disassemble the handle mechanism and inspect for any worn or damaged parts that require replacement.

Posted on Dec 30, 2022I have a Kuggö/Lindöja umbrella that I bought from Ikea and it's not working properly. The tilt function is stuck and won't move, making it difficult to adjust the direction of the sun protection. Can you please provide instructions on how to fix or maintain this feature?

Answered on Jan 01, 2023To fix the stuck tilt function on your KUGGÖ / LINDÖJA umbrella, try the following steps:
1. Fully open the umbrella and locate the tilt mechanism, usually near the top of the pole.
2. Gently try to move the tilt mechanism back and forth to loosen it up. Avoid using excessive force.
3. If it's still stuck, try spraying a small amount of silicone-based lubricant onto the tilt mechanism. This can help free up any stuck parts.
4. After lubricating, try moving the tilt mechanism again to see if it's now operating smoothly.
